The 6th Seal of Revelation reveal signs and wonders in the heavens never seen since creation. The great tribulation period starts with Jesus Christ opening the seals.
The first four seals reveal the 4 horses of Apocalypse. See the 4 horse of apocalypse
Then followed by opening of the 5th seal which reveals the souls of martyrs crying to Jesus to avenge their blood on those who dwell on earth. See the 5th seal of Revelation
6th Seal of Revelation – Signs and Wonders in the Heavens
Rev 6:12-14: And I beheld when he had opened the sixth seal, and, lo, there was a great earthquake; and the sun became black as sackcloth of hair, and the moon became as blood; and the stars of heaven fell unto the earth, even as a fig tree casts her untimely figs, when she is shaken of a mighty wind. And the heaven departed as a scroll when it is rolled together; and every mountain and island were moved out of their places.
With the opening of the 6th seal we see the following signs and wonders;
- A great earthquake
- Sun becoming black as a sackcloth of hair
- Moon becoming as blood
- Stars of heaven falling on earth
- Heaven departing as a scroll when rolled together
- Every mountain and island moving out of their place
Joel prophesied this saying,
Joel 2:30-31: And I will show wonders in the heavens and in the earth, blood, and fire, and pillars of smoke. The sun shall be turned into darkness, and the moon into blood, before the great and the terrible day of the LORD come.
The great and terrible day of the LORD is the day Jesus Christ rises up to judge – it is the Armageddon Battle day. We will study more about Armageddon and Jesus Christ judgment that day. See vision of Armageddon battle to me
In the 6th seal, humanity will run and hide under rocks of the mountains and tell the rocks and mountains to fall on them – to kill them
Rev 6:15-16: And the kings of the earth, and the great men, and the rich men, and the chief captains, and the mighty men, and every slave, and every free man, hid themselves in the dens and in the rocks of the mountains; And said to the mountains and rocks, ‘Fall on us, and hide us from the face of Him that sits on the throne, and from the wrath of the Lamb’
The great tribulation period is terrible and no human being will withstand it except the children of Israel
Rev 6:17: For the great day of His wrath has come; and who shall be able to stand?
Escape it – accept Jesus Christ today
Some people say that we are in the great tribulation period. These are people who do not know what is in the great tribulation.
Example, in the great tribulation period;
- The antichrist will be revealed – we are yet to see him
- Famine will hit entire earth not a part of the earth (black horse)
- War will come upon entire earth not part of the earth (Red horse)
- Entire animal kingdom will rise against humanity
- ¼ of the earth will be killed. If it’s today 2015 = 1.85 billion people, if its 2030 = 2.13 billion people
- Sun will turn black meaning entire earth will go dark not just some parts
- Stars will fall from the heaven to earth
We are yet to see all these things
We are not in the great tribulation period
It’s GRACE time
Time for you and me to escape the great and terrible wrath of God
Accept Jesus Christ today
Jesus is coming
Repent Repent Repent
Repent for the kingdom of heaven is at hand
