Prosperity gospel is a false damnation gospel leading millions of ignorant people to hell and this is the gospel preached and taught in many churches today.

What is prosperity gospel?
Prosperity gospel is a gospel of blessings, money, riches, wealth and health. A gospel of worldly materials and success.
9 Reasons prosperity gospel is leading you to hell
Prosperity gospel: –
1. Focuses on the hand of God not the person
Prosperity gospel only focuses on the hand of God not the person ‘God’. The hand of God is what God does; the giving, the blessing etc.
Prosperity gospel does not teach you to seek God and the heavenly kingdom but teaches you to seek the hand of God for God to give you worldly things; worldly materials and health.
Biblical gospel leads you to the person ‘God’; teaches you to seek and accept God not His hand. It teaches you to seek God first and the rest will be added to you.
Mt 6:33: But seek you first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.
2. No righteousness (holiness)
Prosperity gospel does not teach righteousness (holiness); practicing righteousness, living holy. There is no righteousness in prosperity gospel. No prosperity preacher, teacher, televangelist, prophet, etc will teach you righteousness.
The true Biblical gospel focuses on righteousness; practicing and living righteously (holy). It teaches you how to fight temptations, rise up from sin, repenting and living like Jesus Christ through His finished work on the cross.
1 John 3:10 In this the children of God are manifest, and the children of the devil: whosoever does not practice righteousness is not of God.
Rom 14:17: For the kingdom of God is not meat and drink; but righteousness, and peace, and joy in the Holy Ghost.
3. No salvation
Prosperity gospel does not teach salvation; no mention of salvation in prosperity gospel.
It focus on worldly prosperity but not entering into the kingdom of heaven Salvation is the main purpose of Biblical gospel and anything that does not lead people to salvation is not the gospel.
Salvation is only by grace through faith not by world prosperity.
4. No grace
There is no grace in prosperity gospel.
Prosperity gospel teaches you to do for God to do. It teaches you to tithe for God to bless, to plant a seed, to do this and that for God to worldly prosper you.
Biblical gospel focus on grace: God’s Riches at Christ Expense.
In the dispensation of grace, we receive God’s riches not cause of what we do or our works but at the expense of Jesus Christ. At the expense of the finished work of the cross which Jesus confirmed by cried loud, ‘It is finished’ (John 19:30).
One of the significance of ‘it is finished’ is that nothing humans have to do to obtain God blessings and riches and all works of the law were completely rendered dead. All human works to God in the dispensation of grace are dead works.
We only have to thank, praise and worship our redeemer and savior Jesus Christ.
God’s grace is sufficient. 2 Cor 12:9 My grace is sufficient for thee.

Prosperity gospel has neither grace nor salvation thus leads only to hell.
5. No faith
Since prosperity gospel teaches on doing for God to do, there is no grace thus no faith in this false gospel.
The law and its entire works cannot be mixed with grace and faith. See mixing law and grace. Faith is of grace and there is no grace in the law.
No prosperity preacher, teachers, prophets, etc will plant the seed of faith in you, teach you faith and grow it. Instead they are focusing on the hand of God.
No salvation without faith since salvation is only by grace through faith and faith is a substance of grace.
6. Focus on worldly riches not heavenly
Prosperity gospel only teaches on worldly prosperity; getting worldly materials, money, riches and wealth but not heavenly riches.
Biblical gospel teaches on laying treasure and being rich in heaven not worldly riches and wealth. It focuses on heavenly riches and our inheritance in heaven.
Mt 6:20 But lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust doth corrupt, and where thieves do not break through nor steal.
Laying treasure in heaven and being heavenly rich has nothing to do with worldly riches and wealth. Look at Jesus, His disciples, the beggar and rich man (Lk:16), etc, who were poor worldly but are heavenly rich.
Jesus was God on the world. Was He worldly rich and having all material wealth in the world? No! He was poor. We see Him even having no place to sleep.
Mt 8:20: and Jesus said unto him, the foxes have holes, and the birds of the air have nests; but the Son of man has not where to lay his head.
Worldly riches and wealth sought and taught in prosperity gospel hinder millions of people from entering the kingdom of heaven. Yes! Jesus said,
‘Verily I say unto you, that a rich man shall hardly enter into the kingdom of heaven. And again I say unto you, It is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle, than for a rich man to enter into the kingdom of God’ (Mt 19:23-24).
If you are focusing on worldly riches and wealth, since your treasures are on the world, your heart is not in heaven.
Mt 6:21: For where your treasure is, there will your heart be also.
7. Does not focus on Jesus Christ
Biblical gospel, the word, is Jesus Christ.
John 1:1, 14: In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father) full of grace and truth.
Anything that does not focus, point, reveal and lead people to Jesus Christ is not the gospel.
Prosperity gospel does not focus, point, reveal and lead people to Jesus Christ for salvation, the main purpose of Biblical gospel, but its main focus is the hand of God; the giving, the blessings etc.
8. Does not lead to heaven
No faith, no grace, no Jesus Christ, no salvation, this is what prosperity gospel is leading only to hell.
9. Prosperity gospel is satanic
Prosperity gospel is Satanic; from the Satan Kingdom.
It teaches you that God prospers every person with worldly riches which is a lie. Above, you have seen people who lived poor on the world but are heavenly rich.
God prosperity is not on the world or of this world but heavenly.
To prosper a person on the world or not is the will of God and God’s will does not have be your will or God in line with your will. You can pray million times, tithe million times, etc but if the will of God is not to prosper you, you cannot change that. God knows why. He knows your past present and future very well.
Satan is the prince of this world. He owns this world now.
Reason when tempting Jesus he gave Him all the kingdoms of the world and glory if He falls down to worship him.
Mt 4:8-9: Again, the devil took him up into an exceeding high mountain and showed him all the kingdoms of the world, and the glory of them. And said unto him, All these things will I give thee, if thou wilt fall down and worship me.
To prosper in this world, you have to fall down, worship and sell your soul to Satan. Many people ignorantly have fallen down and worshiped Satan.
That doesn’t mean that God does not prosper people with worldly riches according to His will. But when God prospers a person with worldly prosperity, the prosperity does not come with conditions, neither is it evil nor dirty, its source is clean (rightly acquired) and it does not choke the word of God in that person.
A good example of people prospered worldly by God are Abraham and Job. No matter their prosperity, God was first in their life. Emulate from them if God has prospered you worldly.
The cares of this world, deceit of worldly riches and the lusts of other worldly things can choke the word of God in a person.
Mk 4:19: And the cares of this world, and the deceitfulness of riches, and the lusts of other things entering in, choke the word, and it becomes unfruitful.
No faith, no grace, no salvation, no focus on Jesus Christ, no righteousness and the focus of worldly riches and wealth is the prosperity gospel only leading you to hell.
