God Speaks Audibly only to His Chosen Servants the Prophets

God speaks audibly only to His chosen servants the prophets.

He spoke to Moses directly audibly.

Ex 14:1-2: And the LORD spoke to Moses, saying…

Ex 14:15: And the LORD said unto Moses, ‘Why do you cry to me?  Tell the children of Israel, that they go forward

In the entire book of Exodus, Leviticus, Numbers and Deuteronomy we see God speaking audibly to Moses, instructing, directing and guiding Him on what to say and do to the children of Israel until His last day on earth.

Moses was a prophet

Deut 34:10: And there arose not a prophet since in Israel like Moses

In the Bible, God spoke directly audibly to all His chosen servants the prophets.

God Speaks Audibly only to His Chosen Servants the Prophets

After the death of Moses, God spoke audibly to Joshua

Joshua

Joshua 1:1: Now after the death of Moses the servant of the LORD it came to pass, that the LORD spoke unto Joshua the son of Nun, Moses’ assistant, saying,

Joshua 4:1: And it came to pass, when all the people were clean passed over Jordan, that the LORD spoke unto Joshua, saying,

Joshua 4:15: And the LORD spoke unto Joshua, saying,

Samuel

1Sam 16:4: And Samuel did that which the LORD spoke

Isaiah

Isaiah 8:5: The LORD spoke also unto me again, saying,

Isaiah 20:2: At the same time the LORD spoke by Isaiah the son of Amoz, saying,

Jeremiah

Jer 1:7: But the LORD said unto me,

Jer 14:14: Then the LORD said unto me,

Jer 3:6: The LORD said also unto me in the days of Josiah the king,

Jer 14:14: Then the LORD said unto me,

Ezekiel

Eze 9:4: And the LORD said unto him,

Eze 23:36: The LORD said moreover unto me;

Eze 44:5: And the LORD said unto me,

In church today there are 3 types of prophets;

3 types of prophets in the church today

  1. Those who have called/chosen themselves
  2. Those chosen by people (scoffers)
  3. God chosen prophets

Prophets who have called themselves and those chosen by people are all called false prophets.

The differences between false prophets and God chosen prophets are huge.

Some are;

  1. False prophets use huge titles in their names in order to be recognized, draw attention and fame while God chosen prophets do not use titles in their names.
  2. False prophets tell humanity what they want to hear and do what humanity wants but God chosen prophets only speak when God speaks and only do what God instructs.
  3. God chosen servants do not do anything to please humanity while scoffers are pleasers of men
  4. God chosen prophets do not make money with the gospel in anyway be it asking for tithes, sacrifices, etc but false prophets specialize in begging humanity to tithe, sacrifice and give. See God prophets do not beg humanity
  5. God only speaks audibly to His chosen prophets not to false prophets.

From the day humanity said to Moses, ‘You speak with us and we will hear: but let not God speak with us, lest we die’ (Ex 20:19), God stopped speaking directly audibly to humanity.

From that day, God speaks directly audibly only to His chosen servants the prophets. He does not send any person or any heavenly being to speak to His prophets.

He does not speak directly audibly to humanity but only through His chosen servants the prophets.

God chosen prophets know clearly the voice of their Master.

Scoffers tell you that you do not need God chosen prophets. See do we need a prophet today?
