Prophet prophecy coming to pass is not a test of a true prophet

Prophet prophecy predicting the future and it coming to pass is not a test of a true prophet. It neither distinguishes a true prophet from a false prophet.

This is a continuation from 3 things that do not distinguish a true prophet from a false prophet.

Prophecy coming to pass not a test of a true prophet

Many people, even Christians, have believed that any person who predicts the future and it comes to pass is a true prophet.

This is not Biblical. There is no where in the bible it is said so.

Instead the Bible says that,

Deut 13:1-2: If there arise among you a prophet, or a dreamer of dreams, and gives you a sign or a wonder, And the sign or the wonder come to pass of which he spoke to you saying, ‘Let us go after other gods, which you have not known, and let us serve them’. Does that prove the person is sent by God? No!

God says,

Deut 13:3: You shall not hearken unto the words of that prophet, or that dreamer of dreams: for the LORD your God proves you, to know whether you love the LORD your God with all your heart and with all your soul.

See that Deut 13 comes before Deut 18.

Many people take one Bible verse and stand by it, understanding neither the bible nor God ways. See how to study the Bible.

This is the verse which many people quote.

Deut 18:22: When a prophet speaks in the name of the LORD, if the thing follow not, nor come to pass, that is the thing which the LORD has not spoken, but the prophet has spoken it presumptuously: you shall not be afraid of him.

God prophecy must come to pass

There are 2 types of prophecy: conditional and unconditional. Both conditional and unconditional prophecy must come to pass if from God. See the 2 types of prophecy.

In conditional prophecy, there is an ‘if’ tag. God tells people that if you do this I will do this but if you do not do this I will do this.

If people heed to the voice of God, obey and do what God wants, God repents what He was about to do and the prophecy comes to pass.

If people do not heed to God’s voice, disobey not doing what God wants, God does what He has decreed and the prophecy comes to pass.

See that conditional prophecy has 2 ends and when one if fulfilled, the prophecy comes to pass.

Example: Jonah prophecy

(1)  Jonah prophesied destruction of Nineveh but when people heeded to God’s voice and repented, God repented his wrath and the prophecy came to pass.

(2) If the people hardened their hearts, Nineveh could have been destroyed and Jonah prophecy could have come to  pass.

Jonah prophecy came to pass with the (1) option reason Jonah is a true prophet.

If Nineveh never repented and God did nothing or Nineveh repented and God destroyed it, Jonah could be a false prophet because his prophecy could not have come to pass.

Therefore, if you say Jonah prophecy did not come to pass, you are wrong. You’re saying that Jonah is a false prophet while he is a true prophet. It is you who does not understand the ‘if’ clause of conditional prophecy.

Prophecy on Kenya is conditional

If Kenya heeds to God voice and repents, God will repent His wrath on her.

If Kenya does not heed to God voice and repent, president death and earthquake will destroy Kenya.

If one of the two (above) is fulfilled, the prophecy comes to pass.

But if Kenya repents and God destroys Kenya or Kenya does not repent and God does not destroy her, the prophecy will not have come to pass.

Satan and his servant’s prophecy

Satan and his servants tell only the unconditional prophecy.

The back-end of unconditional prophecy is only God while for conditional prophecy there are 2 ends; God and man.

As I have said, there is nothing new from Satan. He just takes God’s unconditional prophecy which the back-end only lies in God to deceive people.

Satan knows that there are 2 types of prophecy and he cannot use conditional prophecy to deceive people because conditional prophecy strongly strengthens God man relationship.

Instead he;

1. Counteracts all conditional prophecies lying to people.

This is where false prophets come in prophesying peace instead of war, prosperity instead of famine, rain instead of drought, etc.

We see them in Jeremiah’s time prophesying prosperity to Israel instead of captivity.

Jer 27:9: Therefore hearken not to your prophets, nor to your diviners, nor to your dreamers, nor to your enchanters, nor to your sorcerers, who speak unto you, saying, You shall not serve the king of Babylon.

And this is the Satan spirit in Kenya, countering God’s conditional prophecy calling people to repentance. The false prophets, ignorant and man-made Christians are prophesying prosperity while gloom and darkness is clearly revealed.

2. He deceives one-bible-versed-people with one Bible verse

Satan knows the entire Bible and he uses it to tempt and deceive ignorant one-Bible-versed-people who do not understand the Bible. He used Bible verses to tempt Jesus but Jesus understands the Bible clearly not like many one-bible-versed-people today.

He uses Deut 18:22 to deceive many who do not understand the bible; the ‘if’ clause of conditional prophecy. They are the people who believe that if God has decreed destruction in a conditional prophecy, it will happen even if people repent or not.

In doing so, he  drives many to his servants who take only God’s unconditional prophecies because their back-end is only God.

Satan cannot prophecy a conditional prophecy.

Like Jonah prophecy, Satan cannot tell a nation to repent and give out what comes down if they don’t. This is only God’s.

Therefore, prophet prophecies coming to pass is not a test of a true prophet.

God bless
