What is Christian milk doctrines? This are the principles of the doctrine of Christ, the foundations of Christianity or a Christian.
Many Christians today have rushed to eat the meat instead of first drinking a lot of milk which they first need. They have gone to take on the meat of the word and in the process they either claim that God is not real or say prophecies are a lie. After I am through with the principles of the doctrine of Christ, we will go deeply into prophecies and I will take you through everything; from what has happened to what is happening and the future; a total fulfillment of the Bible prophecies.
What are the milk doctrines?
The milk doctrines are the principles of the doctrine of Christ. They are the building blocks of Christianity. They are;
- Repentance from dead works
- Faith
- Doctrine of Baptism
- Laying of hands
- Resurrection of the dead
- Eternal Judgment
Heb 6:1-2: Therefore leaving the principles of the doctrine of Christ, let us go on unto perfection; not laying again the foundation of repentance from dead works, and of faith toward God, Of the doctrine of baptisms, and of laying on of hands, and of resurrection of the dead, and of eternal judgment.
The understanding of the milk doctrines defines a Christian. Without these milk doctrines, you are not a Christian. Why then go to know and eat the meat when you will not enter in the heaven doors?
God has directed me to first teach His beloved the milk doctrines. Many claim to be Christians, we have a lot of churches full of followers, but many are hypocrites. The church ‘men of God’ are busy teaching the meat of the word while the brethren are unskilled in the milk doctrine. Unskilled in that they live as carnal men yet claiming to be spiritual.
Like Paul, they must first teach the milk doctrine to their followers. 1 Cor 3:1-2: And I, brethren, could not speak unto you as unto spiritual, but as unto carnal, even as unto babes in Christ. I have fed you with milk, and not with meat: for hitherto ye were not able to bear it, neither yet now are you able. For you are yet carnal: for whereas there is among you envying, and strife, and divisions, are ye not carnal, and walk as men?
You might have rushed to study the meat of the word but what matters is the milk doctrine and the only way to heaven is through knowing and understanding the milk doctrines. How much you understand and know the milk doctrines directly determines your Christianity walk in this world and the quality of relationship you have with God. Many men have a lot of knowledge about the meat of the word while the ignore or they know little about the milk doctrines.
You will hear a man exhort himself/herself highly of how much s/he knows the bible by how s/he knows about prophecies and biblical timings but you find that s/he lacks knowledge of the milk doctrines. The depth of our knowledge on the milk doctrines helps us Christians be deeply intimate with God. It is only our relationship with God that will take us to heaven and this is only built by the milk doctrines of the word.
The meat is for those who know and understand the milk. If you have not drunk the milk, do not eat the meat of the word.
Many churches we have today have not, do not or they have ignored teaching their followers the milk doctrine and instead producing pop-corn Christians. These are Christians who jump when the switch is on and when it is off they die. They are neither tangled in between Christianity and worldly neither cold nor hot and they know not the word.
Faith is only build in studying the milk doctrines, it being part of the milk doctrines. Faith is the only way to salvation because salvation is only by grace through faith. The class of faith we are in directly determines if we are Christians or not. Christians need always to remind themselves of the milk doctrines and not stick too much the meat. But when the congregation is skilled in the milk doctrine, go on to perfection by feeding them the meat.
I have fed my bible study students the milk as God directs me since I have to build and grow their faith before taking them to perfection. Only the milk doctrines will take you to heaven not by how much you know about prophecies, miracles and the meat of the word.
