The Fig Tree Generation: – The generation that will not pass

The Fig Tree Generation: - The generation that will not pass
The Fig Tree Generation: – The generation that will not pass

The fig tree generation is the generation that will not pass till all things prophesied in Matthew 24, Mark 13 and Luke 21 be fulfilled.

Mt 24:32-34: Now learn a parable of the fig tree; When his branch is yet tender, and puts forth leaves, ye know that summer is nigh. So likewise ye, when ye shall see all these things, know that it is near, even at the doors. Verily I say unto you, this generation shall not pass, till all these things be fulfilled.

It is the generation that will not pass till they see the rapture, the abomination of desolate talked by Daniel, the Antichrist reign, the great tribulation and Jesus Christ coming in the clouds with a great army.

Fig Tree

Fig tree in the Bible represents the Nation of Israel.

Hosea 9:10: I found Israel like grapes in the wilderness; I saw your fathers as the first ripe in the fig tree at her first time

Jesus often used fig tree in parabolic form when communicating things about Israel. In His life on the world, Jesus painted a threefold picture of what will become of the Nation of Israel.

The fig tree (the nation of Israel) was to be barren, cursed and replanted.

1. The Barren fig tree

Lk 13:6-9: He spoke also this parable; A certain man had a fig tree planted in his vineyard; and he came and sought fruit thereon, and found none. Then said he unto the dresser of his vineyard, Behold, these three years I come seeking fruit on this fig tree, and find none: cut it down; why does it use up the ground? And he answering said unto him, Lord, let it alone this year also, till I shall dig about it, and dung it. And if it bear fruit, well: and if not, then after that you shall cut it down.

For three years Jesus was in the land of Israel looking for spiritual fruits but Israel was barren spiritually. Reason it is said, ‘Behold, these three years I come seeking fruit on this fig tree, and find none’.

Israel had a form of religion but not accepting the power of the gospel. Thus Israel had no spiritual fruits like many of today hypocritical Christians. Israel was barren.

For her barrenness and continue using of the land without bearing fruits, Jesus ordered the dresser of the vineyard to cut it down. ‘cut it down; why does it use up the ground?’

But the dresser of the vineyard told Him to wait for him to dig about and dung (fertilize) it and if it bears no fruit, He shall cut it down. ‘Lord, let it alone this year also, till I shall dig about it, and dung it. And if it bear fruit, well: and if not, then after that thou shall cut it down’

Did Israel bear fruits and was she cut down?

2. The cursed fig tree

Even after being dug about and fertilized, Israel did not bear any spiritual fruits and Jesus cursed her.

Mk 11:12-17: And on the morrow, when they were come from Bethany, he was hungry. And seeing a fig tree afar off having leaves, he came, if haply he might find anything thereon: and when he came to it, he found nothing but leaves; for the time of figs was not yet. And Jesus answered and said unto it, No man eat fruit of thee hereafter forever. And his disciples heard it. And they come to Jerusalem: and Jesus went into the temple, and began to cast out them that sold and bought in the temple, and overthrew the tables of the moneychangers, and the seats of them that sold doves; And would not suffer that any man should carry any vessel through the temple. And he taught, saying unto them, Is it not written, My house shall be called of all nations the house of prayer? but ye have made it a den of thieves.

Jesus was hungry for spiritual harvest in Israel and as made clear by His actions in the temple, no fruits to harvest, the fig tree was barren, He cursed the fig tree.

The Jews professed a religious creed of ‘show’ (leaves) but bore not fruits just as today hypocritical Christians.

The fig tree withered and died thus stopped using the land.

In 70 AD the Romans annihilated Israel, destroyed the temple and Israel seized being a sovereign nation and stopped using the ground (land). Israel religious show of leaves was destroyed when their religious center (the temple) was destroyed thus the leaves withered away.

Mt 21:19: And when he saw a fig tree in the way, he came to it, and found nothing thereon, but leaves only, and said unto it, Let no fruit grow on thee henceforward forever. And presently the fig tree withered away.

Later we see the fig tree replanted.

3. The replanted fig tree

In Matthew 24 we see Jesus talking of a replanted fig tree, her branches are tender, putting forth leaves.

Mt 24:32-34: Now learn a parable of the fig tree; When his branch is yet tender, and puts forth leaves, ye know that summer is nigh.

Many Bible prophets prophesied of Israel replanting; Israel rebirth. See Ezekiel 36-37: – Ezekiel prophecy of Rebirth of Israel

Israel ceased to be a sovereign nation from 70 AD to May 14th 1948 when United Nations proclaimed Israel a sovereign nation. Israel was given her land back thus replanted.

See Nebuchadnezzar’s dream of a great image

Since 1948, we have seen Israel put forth leaves on her tender branches both economically, military, financially and spiritually, and Israel has become a world force always on news all over the world. And we are about to see Israel build the Third Temple.

Israel is God’s time piece and in Matthew 24, Mark 13 and Luke 21, Jesus used Israel to tell us of a generation that will see all things prophesied be fulfilled.

The Fig Tree Generation

Lk 21:29 – 32: And he spoke to them a parable; Behold the fig tree, and all the trees. When they now shoot forth, ye see and know of your own selves that summer is now nigh at hand. So likewise ye, when ye see these things come to pass, know ye that the kingdom of God is nigh at hand. Verily I say unto you, This generation shall not pass away, till all be fulfilled.

And Jesus confirmed this words by saying, ‘Heaven and earth shall pass away: but my words shall not pass away’ (Lk 21:33). I.e. this generation that sees the fig tree shoot forth will not pass till all these things be fulfilled.

Which is the generation that saw the fig tree shoot forth?

The Fig Tree Generation: – The generation that will not pass till all these things be fulfilled

In May 14th 1948, Israel became a sovereign nation thus the fig tree come back to life and started shooting forth. The fig tree (Israel) that seemed dead sprung back to life, putting forth tender branches and leaves.

Israel is a powerful nation today always in news all over the world.

The 1948 generation is the generation that will not pass till all things prophesied by Jesus in Mathew 24, Mark 13 and Luke 21 be fulfilled.

A person born in 1950 is not of the 1948 generation. Neither is a person born in 1960, 2000 or any other year. It is only those born in the year 1948 that are of the generation that saw the fig tree shoot forth.

Many of us today found Israel being a sovereign nation when we were born. We found Israel already shooting forth leaves on her tender branches.

The generation that began with the planting of the fig tree (Israel) in 1948 is the generation that will not pass till all things prophesied be fulfilled.

How long is a generation?

From the time of Adam up to today, humanity lifespan on earth has been deteriorating.

Adam lived 930 years

Gen 5:5: And all the days that Adam lived were nine hundred and thirty years: and he died.

Jacob lived 147 years

Gen 47:28: And Jacob lived in the land of Egypt seventeen years: so the whole age of Jacob was an hundred forty and seven years.

Moses lived 120 years

Deut 34:7: And Moses was an hundred and twenty years old when he died

Joshua lived 110 years

Joshua 24:29: And it came to pass after these things, that Joshua the son of Nun, the servant of the LORD, died, being an hundred and ten years old.

The Bible says,

Psalms 90:10: The days of our lives are seventy years; and if by reason of strength they be eighty years, yet is their labour and sorrow; for it is soon cut off, and we fly away.

Humanity lifespan on earth now is 70 or by reason 80 years. Being alive after these years is God’s grace on you individually.

Psalms says, ‘if by reason of strength they be eighty years, yet is their labour and sorrow; for it is soon cut off, and we fly away’. This is a prophecy.

I.e. if they are 80 years there is labour and sorrow figurative of the great tribulation and it is soon cut off thus Jesus ends it when He comes riding on a horse to Armageddon battle and we fly away.

Because of this prophecy in Psalms 90:10 we are going to use a generation to be 80 years.

How old is the generation that will not pass?

The 1948 generation is today (2014) 66 years old. Next year 2015 the generation will be 67 years old.

In 2018 the generation will be 70 years old and Israel will mark 70 years of statehood on May 14th 1948.

The 1948 generation will be over in the year 2018 when the generation attains 70 years in accordance to Psalms 90:10 but the generation has to go up to 80 years for years of labour and sorrow (great tribulation) then soon cut off.

Since in 2018 the generation will be 70 years plus 10 more years for the generation to be 80 years thus brings us to the year 2028.

I.e. from 1948 to 2028 = 80 years and the generation is soon cut off as prophesied in Psalms.

The cut off will happen when Jesus Christ appears in the Armageddon battle

See the Armageddon battle, revelation of the Armageddon battle to me and Armageddon battle full picture

Therefore, since the generation will be over in the year 2028, and as Jesus said, ‘generation shall not pas till all these things be fulfilled’, that means the latest for Jesus Christ to return is the year 2028.

There are 7 years of great tribulation period (the years of labor and sorrow) which must be fulfilled before the generation is cut off. See the last week of Daniel 70 weeks prophecy.

Thus the latest for the great tribulation to begin is the year (2028 – 7) = 2021.

Before the great tribulation begins, the church is raptured thus rapture may be around the year 2021. See Christians will not be in the great tribulation.

In summary

Biblical lifespan of man: 80 years (with years of labor and sorrow)

Israel rebirth: May 14th 1948

Years from May 14th 1948 to 2014: 66 years

Years left in lifespan: 14 years

The year for 1948 generation to be over (1948 + 80 years): 2028

Latest year for Jesus Christ return: 2028

Latest year for rapture and the beginning of the great tribulation (2018 – 7): 2021

There may be a slight error margin which I will reveal in the next study; the end of 6000 years from creation?

Jesus is coming!

Daniel’s wisdom

Just as Daniel understood by the books the number of the years specified by the word of the Lord through Jeremiah the prophet that He would accomplish seventy years in the desolations of Jerusalem (Dan 9:2) so by the same books do I understand the number of years specified for all to be fulfilled

I am not attempting in any way, shape, form or fashion to set a day and hour for the return of Son of Man but I am revealing the season for His return and all prophesied be fulfilled. For we, children of light, know the season when Jesus Christ is returning.

Now we know that 14 years are remaining to the end of the fig tree generation. But we do not know the day or the hour of Jesus Christ return.

But of that day and hour knows no man, no, not the angels of heaven, but my Father only (Mt 24: 36)

Wake up and watch for Jesus Christ not to return as a thief to you.

Rev 3:3: Remember therefore how you have received and heard, and hold fast, and repent. If therefore you shall not watch, I will come on thee as a thief, and you shall not know what hour I will come upon thee.

See to Christians Jesus Christ is not coming as a thief

As Jesus told me, ‘I AM coming’ so do I tell you

Jesus is coming

Repent for the Kingdom of heaven is at hand
