Who Pleases God?

Who pleases God? Does a human being please God? No! We cannot please God – no human being on his/her own can please God.

Who Pleases God?

God is not pleased by a human being but only by His Son Jesus as He said, ‘This is My beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased!’ (Mt 3:17)

No human being pleases God because we are all an unclean thing (Isa 64:6) – can God be pleased by something unclean? No!

God created everything including Adam and said it was good – He did not say His creation pleases Him. Creation on its own does not please God.

Even when God created Adam, He knew Adam will not please Him because he was to fall, to be an unclean thing

If God from creation was not pleased with a human, can the works of a human please Him? No!

We go to church, become workers in the church, etc, trying to please God but all in vain

Not even sacrifices offerings tithes pleases God as written ‘Sacrifice and offering You did not desire’ (psalms 40:6)

Not even our form of godliness can please God for indeed ‘they have a form of godliness but deny the Power’ (2 Tim 3:5)

Today we are working hard to please God but it’s all in vain – like chasing after the wind

We do charitable deeds trying to please God but it’s all in vain

God cannot be pleased by our deeds and works for they are all like filthy rags before Him as written ‘and all our righteous acts are like filthy rags’ (Isa 64:6)

Preaching doesn’t please God – that I know for sure

Then how do we please God?

How to Please God

By only having the One Who pleases Him (His Only Begotten Son) truly dwelling in you.

When Jesus Christ is dwelling in you, God is pleased with you because when He looks at you He sees His Son Jesus not you

God does not want to see you, your works and deeds, your godliness, sacrifices tithes offerings, etc, He wants to see His Son when He looks at you

The deeds and works Jesus does through us are the only ones that please God not our own deeds and works.

Example; do you go to a church Jesus has led you to or you have led yourself or others have led you? Do you do business because Jesus told you to or you told yourself?  Do you tithe because Bible/preacher/etc tell you or its Jesus telling you?

Today we do things because our friends have told us, society tells us, bible tells us so, etc, we do not do because it’s Jesus who has told us so. It’s all about our will, what seems good before our eyes, we never inquire from the Lord and wait patiently for His answer before we do anything.

The only work and deed that pleases God is that which is in the Will of Jesus Christ individually, thus Jesus Christ doing it through you otherwise it is our own deeds and works

Does God see His Son when He looks at you or He sees you?

Stop trying to please God. You can never please Him. Only have His Only Begotten Son dwelling in you and He will be pleased with you.

And how do you truly know you have Him dwelling in you?

Not by your godliness, not by gifts like speaking in tongues, not by your works and deeds, not by how much you pray and fast, not by how much you tithe offer and sacrifice, not by how much you go to church or work tireless in church, etc (because people of the world do this things too), but only by the Fruits of the Holy Spirit

See do you have the Holy Spirit dwelling in you?

Fruits of the Holy Spirit are a sure proof that Jesus Christ is dwelling in a person

Do you have peace the world cannot comprehend? Do you have joy world cannot comprehend? Do you have happiness world cannot comprehend? Etc.

Because things of the Spirit, world cannot comprehend as written, ‘The natural man does not accept the things that come from the Spirit of God. For they are foolishness to him, and he cannot understand them, because they are spiritually discerned’ (1 Cor 2:14)

Fruits of the Holy Spirit have nothing to do with your feelings or emotions. They are not controlled by your emotions. They never fluctuate with your emotions.

Example; if you say you have joy and happiness but your joy and happiness is depended on your emotions, fluctuates with your feelings, that is not the Joy and happiness of the Holy Spirit

If you say you have peace and your peace depends and fluctuates with your emotions and feelings, that is not the peace of the Holy Spirit

Joy peace happiness of the Holy Spirit is that which you see Stephen with, though they were stoning him, He was having peace they could not comprehend and this astonished them

Though they were spitting beating provoking Jesus, He was having peace they could not comprehend

If your joy happiness peace etc depends on what your feel, your emotions, what is happening to you around you, etc, – that is not of the Holy Spirit; you indeed lack the Holy Spirit in you

And this is how we lie to ourselves that we have Jesus Christ but we do not have Him

God is only please by His only begotten Son not by you neither your works and deeds

A human only pleases God by having His Only begotten Son dwelling in him/her

If you want to please God like Enoch, have Jesus Christ dwelling in you, walk in Him and live by every word that proceeds (present continuous not past) from the mouth of the Lord.
