The 7 angels of Apocalypse are revealed by the 7th seal. The great tribulation period begins with the opening of the 7 seals.
In the 7th seal, the 7 Angels are given trumpets to sound and when they sound, God’s wrath to earth is revealed
Rev 8:2: And I saw the seven angels which stood before God; and to them were given seven trumpets
The 7 Angels of Apocalypse
Rev 8:6: And the seven angels which had the seven trumpets prepared themselves to sound
The First Angel
By the first angel, a third of the trees are burnt up and all grass is burnt up
Rev 8:7: The first angel sounded, and there followed hail and fire mingled with blood, and they were cast upon the earth: and the third part of trees was burnt up, and all green grass was burnt up
Just imagine how the earth will be when 1/3 of all trees are burned up and all grass is burned up
The Second Angel
By the second Angel, a third of the sea became blood
Rev 8:8: And the second angel sounded, and as it were a great mountain burning with fire was cast into the sea: and the third part of the sea became blood
The only time in history we see water turning into blood in an entire land is during the time of plagues in Egypt. When the second angel will sound in the great tribulation period, a 1/3 of the sea (a third of seas of the earth) will become blood.
A third of the living creatures in the sea will die and a third of the ships destroyed
Rev 8:9: And the third part of the creatures which were in the sea, and had life, died; and the third part of the ships were destroyed
If you carefully look at the plagues in Egypt, some plagues were prerequisite of the next plagues – for the next to happen, the previous must first happen.
For 1/3 of the living creature to die, the sea water must first turn into blood. Same as the plague in Egypt when all water in Egypt turned into blood leading to death of all fish
Ex 7:19,21: And the LORD spoke unto Moses, ‘Say unto Aaron, Take thy rod, and stretch out thine hand upon the waters of Egypt, upon their streams, upon their rivers, and upon their ponds, and upon all their pools of water, that they may become blood; and that there may be blood throughout all the land of Egypt, both in vessels of wood, and in vessels of stone’. And the fish that was in the river died; and the river stank, and the Egyptians could not drink of the water of the river; and there was blood throughout all the land of Egypt.
The Third Angel
By the third angel, a third of the rivers and spring waters become bitter leading to death of many men
Rev 8:10-11: And the third angel sounded, and there fell a great star from heaven, burning as it were a lamp, and it fell upon the third part of the rivers, and upon the fountains of waters; And the name of the star is called Wormwood: and the third part of the waters became wormwood; and many men died of the waters, because they were made bitter.
The Fourth Angel
By the fourth Angel, a third of the day will not shine and likewise night
Rev 8:12: And the fourth angel sounded, and the third part of the sun was smitten, and the third part of the moon, and the third part of the stars; so as the third part of them was darkened, and the day shone not for a third part of it, and the night likewise
A day has 12 hours so is night. A third of the day is 4 hours. Therefore for 4 hours the entire earth will be all dark and so will be night.
Remember the darkness that come to Egypt? It is the same kind of darkness.
This is a kind of darkness rare on earth because in the day sun is always shining and moons and starts in the night. But when all are struck and go black, the darkness will be thick as it was in Egypt.
Ex 10:21-22: And the LORD said unto Moses, Stretch out thine hand toward heaven, that there may be darkness over the land of Egypt, even darkness which may be felt. And Moses stretched forth his hand toward heaven; and there was a thick darkness in all the land of Egypt three days
God sending plagues to Egypt through Moses to deliver Israel from Pharaoh and the Egyptian was a sneak preview of how God will deal with the earth during the great tribulation period as he delivers His people Israel. We will study the image painted during the Egypt plagues in relation to great tribulation.
Rev 8:13: And I beheld, and heard an angel flying through the midst of heaven, saying with a loud voice, Woe, woe, woe, to the inhibiters of the earth by reason of the other voices of the trumpet of the three angels, which are yet to sound!
The blasts of the trumpets of the three remaining angels are worst and woe unto humanity on earth
Some people say we are in the great tribulation period. They do not know what is in the great tribulation period.
We are yet to see the things in the great tribulation period – we are not in the great tribulation period
It’s grace time
Accept Jesus Christ today and escape God’s wrath on earth in the great tribulation period
